I uninstalled the NextGEN plugin and reinstalled it but my gallery links were demolished. I will re-import them to set up a new link table - when I have time. Thanks again for the heads up.

No I am not giving up on blogging or podcasting!

On the contrary, I have 96 private postings from the last 14 months on various topics which I shared with 43 WordPress trainees. 29 of these WordPress enthusiasts are from the eTwinning community and the remainder are teachers from around Ireland and some PC users who attended last year's Digital Bootcamp organised by the INTo and delivered by Apple last summer in Alexander College, Dublin.

I will tidy them up, especially the posts with links and publish them (publicly) over the next few weeks.

Why all the fuss?

I am aware from the http://www.slua.com site stats that the various sub-sites receive regular daily traffic. It is a matter of courtesy to the regular users. This is the best time to do it as hits have tailed off to a trickle.

It is amazing what a Google search turns up when one goes looking for podcasting and related topics. I was hoping to find 30 day trials of suitable authoring suites. Worm World for the chop

Worm World – a legacy from the UL masters course is for the chop. I know that at least 6 schools use it every week so I would be grateful if someone could host it on their own site. It requires no updating or maintenance.

Music and Animation Course

I have seen John Crowe in action at CESI conferences so I have booked a place in his Music and Animation course in Blackrock Education Centre. His course uses public domain and shareware products throughout.

Try something new

I hate to say this but the same people turn up for the same courses year in year out. I have done it myself to get the course days. Check to see if there is a progressive element in the course design. Basic, intermediate and advanced courses on the same subject matter are a better bet. [...]
