  • NextGen Slideshow Fixed - 2011-09-17 20:53:34 -

I uninstalled the NextGEN plugin and reinstalled it but my gallery links were demolished. I will re-import them to set up a new link table - when I have time. Thanks again for the heads up.

No I am not giving up on blogging or podcasting!

On the contrary, I have 96 private postings from the last 14 months on various topics which I shared with 43 WordPress trainees. 29 of these WordPress enthusiasts are from the eTwinning community and the remainder are teachers from around Ireland and some PC users who attended last year's Digital Bootcamp organised by the INTo and delivered by Apple last summer in Alexander College, Dublin.

I will tidy them up, especially the posts with links and publish them (publicly) over the next few weeks.

Thanks for the "Back 2 School" emails.

podPress v8.1 upgrade

podPress v8.0 seemed to be missing the path to the "preview images" . All is well now. Behold podPress v8.1.

Images Missing

Users have reported that the “preview images” are missing from the video podcasts. I did not use my own laptop to upgrade to podPress v8.0 as it is packed up for collection by DELL for the last two weeks. I may have missed a file or two. Then again it may be a slip-up by [...]

2007 eTwinning Handbook

Three copies of the 2007 eTwinning Handbook arrived in the school before the bank holiday.

The content was excellent, full of project outlines and practical advice. However, images from the actual projects were conspicuous by their absense. It may have been due to the interview process being rushed in order to meet the [...]

A New Saint for Malta

Dun Ä orÄ¡, was born in the Valletta, the capital city of Malta in 1880, but later on his family moved to the town of Hamrun.  He used to be often sick and many times his family thought that he would die before becoming a priest.  He was a very humble person and [...]

A New Saint for Ireland

Dublin and Ireland is to get a new saint next Sunday. It is one of the best kept media secrets. Pope Benedict XVI will canonise several new saints one of which will be Saint Charles of Mount Argus. There has been little or no media build-up in Ireland except a piece in Sunday Miscellany [...]
