My Raspberry Pi NAS is slightly different to the one in Tinkernut’s video. For a start I used my new Model B+ for the project and secondly my NAS (Network Attached Storage) solution is always attached as I need the B+ for other projects.
Finally, I embarked on this project just for the fun of it and as a NAS option it is not the bee’s knees. Having said that I had all the components lying around so I decided to give it a go and it does work. Setting it up for cloud storage access took a bit of doing but it did work very well (for its very short life) as a NAS device.
