  • NextGen Slideshow Fixed - 2011-09-17 20:53:34 -

I uninstalled the NextGEN plugin and reinstalled it but my gallery links were demolished. I will re-import them to set up a new link table - when I have time. Thanks again for the heads up.

No I am not giving up on blogging or podcasting!

On the contrary, I have 96 private postings from the last 14 months on various topics which I shared with 43 WordPress trainees. 29 of these WordPress enthusiasts are from the eTwinning community and the remainder are teachers from around Ireland and some PC users who attended last year's Digital Bootcamp organised by the INTo and delivered by Apple last summer in Alexander College, Dublin.

I will tidy them up, especially the posts with links and publish them (publicly) over the next few weeks.

Thanks for the "Back 2 School" emails.

IWB – watch your back!

I have just finished reading eSchool News and the main article is about a new projector which will turn any wall into an interactive surface. Epson and Boxlight are pitching their “ potentially game-changing technology” at the education market. “ The development means schools no longer have to buy separate hardware to [...]

CESI Dublin Import

The first attempt to export the content of the CESI Dublin blog met with partial success.

I presume it is a matter of permissions as some of the contributors and authors posted privately and I will have to contact after mid-term break.

Private v Public

“Titles Only” appear because the posts are available to logged-on registered members only. The posts have nothing to do with the eTwinning project hosted on the site but have relevance to the education sector in general. The forum you referred to was taken offline last year due to lack of use. Try the CESI [...]

Google Groupies

A big thank you to Liam, Carmel and Kieron for their work winding up the Google Groups underpinning the “old branch sites”. I realise that these goups were their babies and it was difficult walk away from them. Only one Google Group is now functioning for the CESI Dublin Branch and all [...]

Censored!?

11 comments have been deleted in the last four days due to the presence of ”unparlimentary language” and the use of bogus email addresses. There is no “F” in ICT.

Several registered users vetted the comments and deemed them unsuitable for publication on an education blog. This does not mean that [...]

Last Post

Today was the official last posting date for Conference 2008 Registrations. The conference committee cannot guarantee a place or meal if you leave it any later. However, if you have a postal collection to-morrow (Saturday) you are in luck. Please do not post your registration on Monday as they go to Drumcondra Education Centre [...]

January Workshop hiccup!

Unfortunately, the ICT Lab is experiencing technical difficulties at present so the January workshop will have to be re-scheduled or held over until after midterm next February.
