Greetings to all the teachers attending the eTwinning Professional Development Workshop in Innsbruck, Austria.
I was disappointed to read that there were 2 “no shows” at the recent Robots.ie Soldering Workshop held at The Science Gallery . I would have liked to have been there but besides my recent respiratory problems I had also read on the site two weeks beforehand that the workshop was sold out [...] Happy Saint Patrick’s Day BeannachtaĂ na FĂ©ile Pádraig Shamrock in bloom in my back garden in Dublin.

Unfortunately, [...] I promised to upload the sound and vision of Hook Head Lighthouse in the rainy mist of the August bank holiday. Enjoy!   The Sea Stallion from Glendalough finally docked at Customs House Quay after its six week voyage from Roskilde in Denmark. The replica longboat travelled 1000 nautical miles manned (and womanned) by an international crew of 60. More pictures to follow tomorrow.
I can hear the song by The Clash in my head – "Should I stay or should I go . . " The bad weather is closing in on our proposed trip to Hook Head, County Wexford. The Norman Invasion of Ireland began in 1169. Legend has it that that Richard de Clare [...] Â The primary school year ends tomorrow and along with it the official one year run of our eTwinning project “Once Upon A Blog.” This project has received international recognition on a worldwide basis and many teachers have told me that the project has had a positive influence on their teaching [...] |
