Congratulations to Tom Roche and the pupils and staff of Knockaclarig National School, Castleisland, Co. Kerry who were awarded first place in their category at the 4th Annual eTwinning Conference held in Prague this weekend (February 13 – 15th). Â
Their project is entitled “Make film and share IT with friends 2.0!”

The eTwinning PDW in Belfast was a great success. I really enjoyed it.

Anne and Brian’s presentations were excellent. Together they  put across the value added demension of cross cultural communication and interaction.
The question and answer session included contributions from Kay O’Regan (LĂ©argas) who invited everyone to join the eTwinning community. ScoilNet coordinator, Patrick Coffey, offered to carry news of eTwinning events on the ScoilNet electronic newsletter. George [...]

Log onto www.etwinning.net for news of the programme for the new academic year. It usually kicks off in August. Léargas ran an eTwinning week last year and I am sure it will be bigger and better this year.
