Atahualpa 3 released

The Atahualpa theme is progressing in leaps and bounds. Version 3 was released yesterday. It is packed with customisible compnents. I will upgrade during the Christmas holidays as I have carol services and end of year school business to take care of first.

I see that 200 themes have been removed from the WordPress Theme Library. They allegedly breach WordPress rules regarding embedded sponsors’ links. I presume we will witness a plethora of independent theme libraries springing up in the next few weeks.

I have downloaded and installed Atahualpa 2.2. Please let me know if there is any problems.

This looks like it fits the bill for the re-build of the site. I cannot recall coming across version 1 – it may have been a development project.

Don’t be alarmed over the next month if the site drigts between the old and the new.

I have tinkering around with bothe these themes for a month now. I will put up Atahualpa for three days 18th – 20th. Then Montezuma will have its turn from the 21st 23rd. You can comment or email me with your choice at podmaster[at] slua [dot] com. I will abide by the majority choice.

Inca WordPress theme releases

Not one but two 3 column fluid width WordPress themes have been released in the last week. Both bear the names of Inca rulers, Atahualpa and Montezuma. I downloaded both and I shall be experimenting with them around 22.00 hours every night until I decide on one or the other. I will leave the blog running so be prepared for changes in appearance from minute to minute.
