I uninstalled the NextGEN plugin and reinstalled it but my gallery links were demolished. I will re-import them to set up a new link table - when I have time. Thanks again for the heads up.

No I am not giving up on blogging or podcasting!

On the contrary, I have 96 private postings from the last 14 months on various topics which I shared with 43 WordPress trainees. 29 of these WordPress enthusiasts are from the eTwinning community and the remainder are teachers from around Ireland and some PC users who attended last year's Digital Bootcamp organised by the INTo and delivered by Apple last summer in Alexander College, Dublin.

I will tidy them up, especially the posts with links and publish them (publicly) over the next few weeks.

Missing Images

I am aware that the Slua, CESI and Camara images/logos are not appearing at the moment. It may be due to an image storage routing or permissings problem. I will check it out next week.

Upgrade Issues

There has been a number of rapid WordPress upgrades in the last few weeks which have left a number of plugins in a deactivated state. You will also notice that my logo has fallen foul of some mysterious theme parameter. I will check it out sometime next week.

Theme OK

Everyting is intact this morning! Still showing an error while loading but it loads nevertheless. I have pinpointed the offending plugin.

Blanking Resolved

I took the coward’s way out and deleted the the WordPress Classic and Default themes and then renamed Atahualpa v3.3.2 as the Default theme. It took about 30 seconds for the site to resovle and another two or three minutes for the favicon to appear in the address bar. So far so good! All will [...]

SLUA blank on IE7 & 8

I have just received 2 emails in rapid succession informing me that SLUA is totally blank on Internet Explorer 7 and 8. I have checked it out on my netbook and the page is as white as the driven snow! It reports that the page is loaded but there is nothing there. I [...]

WordPress.com Blocked!

I was surprised to discover this morning that http://www.dublincesi.wordpress.com was blocked by FortiNet, the contracted filtering service for the the Schools’ Broadband Network. I checked out Virtual Education http://virtued.wordpress.com/ and it too is blocked. Both blogs were accessible before the CESI conference - a week earlier!
