Rotary Switch Dilemma

Damaged Switch Shafts.jpg

Two selector switches have been damaged and the shafts have been sheared off.

The two way single wafer switch selects Full Range or Separates and is easily replaced with a modern equivalent. The three way double gang (two wafer) switch is going to be a nightmare to source. Besides its length it also has large 39Ω resistors strapped between the wafers. It would appear that the top wafer does not switch at all but acts as an inline soldering tag strip. If the shafts cannot be replaced the components will have to removed carefully and re-soldered to the new or refurbished switch.

The top wafer is only an inline solder tie point.
